Pavilionul Verde
About this project
The Green Pavilion is a residential project in Izvorani, designed as an intimate relaxation space, integrated into the natural landscape of the lake. The compact volume and natural materials — wood, stone and glass — create an authentic dialogue between interior and exterior. The interior design follows an open loft concept, where the living room, dining room and kitchen merge into a fluid space with a panoramic view of the lake. The colour palette — shades of dark green, warm beige and copper accents — reflects the natural environment. The extensive terrace with lamellar wood structure becomes a second outdoor living room, connecting the pavilion to the pontoons on the lake and to the lush vegetation of the garden.
What kind of context it solves
A residential project in which the relationship with the exterior, natural light, and the rhythm of living needed to be ordered so the home could become calmer, more coherent, and easier to inhabit.
What it changes in practice
It connects the interior to the landscape and makes everyday living feel more fluid, so daily function and the identity of the place reinforce one another.
What it clarifies before the next step
It shows how a home that opens toward nature requires precise decisions in proportion, materiality, and flow, not just a beautiful image.
